Round eight Pilbara RED Grants now open!
The Regional Economic Development grants (RED Grants) program was launched in 2018-19 and is a $60.85 million over eleven years State Government initiative that invests in locally-driven projects to stimulate job creation and economic growth in regional Western Australia.
The State Government is committed to investing in locally-driven projects that support efforts to create long-term economic growth and stimulate job creation in our regions. The Regional Economic Development Grants (RED Grants) program is a State Government initiative that is investing $60.85 million over eleven years in locally-driven projects to stimulate economic growth and development in regional Western Australia.
The RED Grants program is delivered by the Regional Development Commissions for their respective region, with support from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. More than $40 million has been allocated towards 415 approved projects across the nine regions from previous rounds of the RED Grants Program.
Applications for round 8 are now open and close on 9 January 2026
